**Type:** Volunteer / Unpaid *** #### About Mr. Bacon Mr. Bacon is a Discord bot built to enhance the Roblox experience by providing tools for user profiles, game discovery, and community management. We serve thousands of users and are committed to maintaining a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for everyone. #### The Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Community Moderator to join our Trust & Safety team. In this role, you will help lead moderation efforts, mentor junior moderators, and play a key part in shaping and enforcing community guidelines. This position is ideal for someone with prior moderation experience who is passionate about fostering healthy online communities. #### What You'll Do * Oversee daily moderation activities and support the moderation team in resolving complex user issues. * Mentor and guide junior moderators, providing feedback and helping them develop their skills. * Handle high-level escalations, including severe policy violations and user disputes. * Assist in updating and refining community guidelines and moderation procedures. * Collaborate with the Trust & Safety lead to identify trends and improve community safety measures. * Help coordinate and execute community events and initiatives to encourage positive engagement. #### What You Should Have * Previous experience as a moderator or senior moderator in online communities, preferably on Discord. * Strong understanding of Discord’s features, community dynamics, and Roblox. * Excellent judgment and ability to make fair, consistent decisions under pressure. * Leadership skills and experience guiding or mentoring team members. * Strong written communication skills and a professional, empathetic approach. * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting. #### Important Note This is a volunteer, unpaid position.
